School, Class 9 to 12

Stream and Career Compass

One focused day for one of the biggest decisions of school life, taken together by the student and a parent. You will use AI to research streams, courses, and careers properly: what people in a field actually do, what the paths into it look like, and how AI itself is changing that work. You will learn which questions to ask before choosing, and how to spot AI-generated misinformation about colleges, cutoffs, and placements. Each family walks out with a one-page career exploration map they made themselves. No decisions are made for you. You leave with clarity and a method to keep exploring at home.

Hour1

Meet the careers, hands on

Your first AI career interviews, done live

  • First 30 minutes: interview an AI about a career you are curious about
  • The interest and strengths worksheet: what you enjoy, what teachers praise, what you avoid, mapped honestly before any stream talk
  • Researching a stream properly: subjects, daily work, paths, and realistic ranges
  • Verifying claims on official sources live: college sites, exam authority pages and fee tables, so no coaching brochure decides for you

You make today: Notes from your first AI career interview, in your own words

Hour2

Question everything

The questions that matter and the misinformation to avoid

  • How AI is changing the jobs you are considering: what grows, what shrinks, what changes
  • The questions to ask before choosing: interest, aptitude, cost, time, and backup paths
  • Spotting AI-generated misinformation: fake rankings, inflated placements, and how to verify on official sites

You make today: A checklist of questions your family will ask before any stream decision

Hour3

Decide together

Turning research into a map your family owns

  • Researching your shortlisted careers side by side
  • Building your one-page career exploration map as a family
  • Agreeing what to keep exploring at home, and how

You make today: A one-page career exploration map: three careers researched, AI's impact on each, questions still open, and next steps

Honest answers

Questions people actually ask

Will the workshop tell us which stream to pick?

No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. We teach a research method and give your family better information and better questions. The decision stays with you, which is where it belongs. And if you also plan to meet a career counsellor, this workshop makes that money go further: you arrive with three researched options and specific questions instead of starting from zero.

Do parents really need to attend?

Yes, it works best together. Stream decisions in most homes are made jointly, and the workshop gives both of you the same facts at the same time, which makes the conversation at home much easier.

Is AI's career information reliable?

Not always, and that is a core part of the workshop. AI can be outdated or simply wrong about colleges, cutoffs, and placements. We practise verifying every important claim on official websites before it goes on your map.

My child is in Class 9. Is it too early?

No. Class 9 and 10 is when stream pressure starts, and exploring early lowers anxiety later. The map is designed to be updated as interests change, so nothing decided today is final.
